1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Continuum, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Service Description
Continuum provides a secure, encrypted digital vault for storing and managing critical documents, account credentials, and life directives. The service includes emergency access protocols, document sharing, and AI-powered document analysis.
3. Account Responsibilities
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- You must provide accurate registration information
- You are responsible for all activity under your account
- You must be at least 18 years of age to use the service
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
4. Encryption and Key Management
Your data is encrypted with keys derived from your master password. Continuum cannot recover your data if you lose your master password and recovery key. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your credentials and recovery materials.
5. Emergency Access
Emergency access features (dead man's switch, trusted contacts) operate according to rules you configure. Continuum is not liable for actions taken by designated contacts once emergency access is triggered.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to circumvent security measures
- Interfere with or disrupt the service infrastructure
- Reverse engineer or decompile the application
- Store content that violates applicable laws
7. Billing and Subscriptions
Paid plans are billed through Stripe. You may cancel at any time. Upon cancellation, your account reverts to the free tier at the end of the billing cycle. We do not delete vault data due to billing changes.
8. Limitation of Liability
Continuum is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your encrypted data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
